By downloading, installing, or using MuscleScreen ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
MuscleScreen is a mobile application that restricts access to user-selected apps on your device until you complete a physical exercise challenge. The App uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls / ManagedSettings) to block and unblock apps, and your device camera to detect and verify exercise repetitions via on-device pose estimation.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MuscleScreen. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian's consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
MuscleScreen provides exercise challenges for general wellness purposes only. The App does not provide medical or fitness advice. You should consult a healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program. By using MuscleScreen, you acknowledge that physical exercise carries inherent risks and you assume full responsibility for any injury or health issue arising from your use of the App.
All content in MuscleScreen, including but not limited to the avatar artwork, design, interface, and codebase, is the intellectual property of MuscleScreen and its creators. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.
MuscleScreen is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exercise detection will be perfectly accurate at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuscleScreen and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or loss of profits arising from your use of the App.
MuscleScreen blocks access to apps you have selected. You can modify your blocked app list at any time through the App's settings. In an emergency, you can always access essential device functions (phone, messages, system settings) as these are never blocked.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using MuscleScreen at any time by deleting the App from your device. Upon deletion, all locally stored data (profile, workout history, streak data) is permanently removed.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MuscleScreen operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
